This delicious sauce has a wonderful synergistic effect when combined with the umami of kombu, bonito flakes and niboshi (dried bonito). This lovely light-coloured men-tsuyu has a delicious Kansai-style flavour. The gorgeous scent of kombu and katsuobushi broth makes this men-tsuyu absolutely perfect for dipping sauce and kaketsuyu! It's great for all kinds of dishes, like ten-tsuyu, donburi and nimono, as well as for pouring soy sauce over food.
