Sweet, savory, and just a tiny bit spicy
A liquid mix of pineapple, tomatoes, dried chilies, anchiote paste spices, sunflower seed oil, aromatic herbs, onion, garlic, salt for marinating the meat of your choice.
Al pastor is said to be originally based on lamb shawarma, brought to Mexico by Lebanese immigrants in the 19th century.
This marinade is most popular with tacos, but is equally good for any grill dish and is our personal favourite ;)
Super easy to prepare:
1. Mix 200 g of marinade with 1 kg of pork, poultry or vegetables and leave overnight or for 1 hour
2. Grill or broil
