Rice vinegar is a vinegar made from fermented rice in East Asia, as well as in Vietnam in Southeast Asia. It can be used as a sweetener in some fries, dressings, sushi rice, soups, stews etc.
White rice vinegar is a colorless to pale yellow liquid, higher in acetic acid than other Chinese vinegars, but still less acidic and milder in flavor than Western vinegars.
